Just in time for Derby season here in Kentucky (and for all of you who love all things equestrian no matter what time of year it may be!) I stumbled upon a collection of these 1940s glass gems that feature a wonderfully charming sketch of a horse in profile. I thought they'd make the most fun necklaces, so now a small batch of this equine style are available, each with their vintage disc suspended from gilt brass chain at 18" length. (Glass gem itself measures 0.75" diameter.) Whether layered with some other favorite necklaces or as a thoughtful hostess gift as a souvenir of the best of the Bluegrass, this beauty is a winner.
